CM 690 II Advanced Black & White?

Hi guys, it's my first post on here, hopefully I'll find some answers

Has anyone got this case? There's a surprising lack of information on the internet about it, and the last time I checked Aria were the only guys that stocked it. I know Tom reviewed it, but other than that it seems like no one actually has the case...

Personally, I think it looks gorgeous, and the only thing that would improve it would be a window; however that's very unlikely to happen. I was originally going to go for a Bitfenix Raider, however I'm definitely going for the 690 ii B&W now.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

here is the states, we dont have the optional white cases by cooler master. those were for everywhere but US. so we have to

build our own. ive got a couple of CM690 and hopefully another nVidia edition CM690 II. one ive field dressed and had powder

coated white internally. and will dress the exterior either white or white di-noc film transfer. but this hopefully be the beast build.

you might wanna try here: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6818

I'm in the UK, so I can just order from Aria. Just seems like no one has this case, which I find a bit weird as I thought it would be quite popular

CM 690 II is a great mid tower case. Here's a review by Tom on the case:

Also consider the Fractal Arc Midi, Corsair have a bunch of mid tower cases to consider too

I was thinking of the white 600t as well, but it's a bit too expensive and it looks a bit like a case inside a case in my opinion.

CASECEPTION.

I'v got the original black case and as a starting case I think it is fantastic! It is big enough to hold the huge coolers like the d14 and silver arrow(I had a silver arrow in mine so can confirm that for sure), has great cable management, very easy to use toolless design, room for watercooling a plenty(Currently have 2 240mm rads in it, the bottom one required a little modding as it is an SR-1 which are longer than most) and the airflow is great it's basically made out of fans lol!

Overall Coolermaster are one of my favour case manufacturers and the 690 to me = perfect starter case.

Seems like the perfect size really, If you're just going for an standard ATX setup, it has plenty of room in it for large coolers (I'm going for a Havik 140, for black and white theme

) And it will be my first build, so it should be perfect. Apart from no window. Sigh

I recently bought the Arc Midi for the new Ivy Bridge rig. Before this, cm690 ii was my first choice as I like Cooler Master cases. But after researching the cases for weeks, I end up choosing for the Arc Midi for its flexibility, price, and cooling performance. The more I look, the more I feel CM690 ii is outdated already. (it's just my opinion). There are some good cases in the market:-

Fractal Design Arc Midi

Fractal Design Define R3

Corsair Carbide 400R / 500R

Corsair Obsidian 550d

Anyway, CM690ii is still a good cases. In the end, it's up to your choice because you will be looking it everyday.

They're all great cases, but I'm not a silence freak, so I generally value aesthetics over noise, and as you say I will be looking at it everyday
