cm 690 2 advance case fan sounds like a lancaster boomer

hi all

i started building my new rig i decided on a cooler master 690 2 advance case and the 120 mm exhaust fan on the rear of the case is proper noisy so i took it back to aria pc they gave me a new one from another case and that is even worse after i asked them to make sure it is quiet no i have 2 the same but they are led fans in the top they are whisper quiet should i go back again or are the black cooler master fans just pants?

Is it the 2 fans on the side that are troubling you or the 120mm exhaust fan, ah I see its the exhaust that you think is noisy that comes stock with the case? Most stock fans are pretty pants and noisy especially if your paying £70 for the whole case considering quite decent 120mm fans are around £15 below is what I would recommend

are beauts and you can hardly hear them at all when your close to them

yea i was thinking i was wasting my time with the stock fan just wanted to check i was thinking of one of them instead as it matches my nh d14 cooler dose any one know of a good 140 mm red led fan that is quiet to replace the blue one in the front of the case as i got a red and black theme going on?

There are 3 main choices for a red LED 140mm fan.

1. Enermax Vegas RED.

2. Prolimatech Red Vortex

3. Xigmatek 140mm Red LED

I would recommend them in that order. They are all quiet and give good CFM values.

EDIT: If you were to chuck on in the front of your case, the Prolimatech will probably give the best look.
