what are they like? anygood?

their prices are lower than others......and it makes me wonder do their products have problems or something.....

im planning my next build at the moment, and instead of waiting for ATi, i might just bung in one of those Club 3D since their price seems so attractive!

They are not the best on the market. But they do not have problems!

They are a good company with quality GPUS! ;)

good good

as long as they dont have a known problem of dying within a few months im happy with it....

but how on earth can they make a profit with that price? weird eh, since everyone is about 30-60 quids more on the same card as Club 3D....

My card's a Club3D. No probs with it at all.

When I needed to know something, their support answerd my e-mails within an hour on both occasions.

I thought all ATi cards are made by ATi?

They just get different HSF's + BIOS's put onto them with branding etc

I heard that the new nvidia cards are exactly the same aswell

I think ATI release a PCB layout with the chip that a lot of companies use, with their own components and ICs but further down the line companies like XFX (for NV) will develop their own layouts using the same chip, trying to improve performance

Well ATI produce the reference design and get their hired FAB to make the GPU's (ATI are FABless - or were until they were AMD). Then they send this out to the manufacturers who make the cards. nVidia do the same sort of thing.

A lot of early vcards get made in the same factory by the same OEM and then branded by the various AIB partners
