This is somewhat related to another post I have going on called 'Laptop SSD upgrade help me??' (if you are reading this, i'd love you to stop by and offer any advice for that thread too
)
My desktop has 3 drives, 1 ssd for boot, 1 hdd for storage, 1 ssd for steam games. literally all that is on the 2nd ssd is the steam folder. initially i thought buying a second ssd would provide a significant difference in loading times for steam games and launching steam in comparison to the hdd that i originally had it on. this wasn't really the case.
i'm also thinking about buying a laptop, taking the 2nd ssd out of my desktop to put it in there as the laptop's only drive. i am wondering if there is anything at all that i need to do other than simply delete the steam folder from the ssd? do i need to to a proper clean?
again, please do go over to my other thread if you have any sort of knowledge on this! i really am a bit of a 'noob' !!!
