Cjs-cdkeys.com, Con Or Real ?

100% legit! Me and a few others on here have bought games from them.

I never buy my games from places like steam or Origin, you get them so much cheaper from CJS keys and a few other sites like them.

Thanks for the info, Could you name any other please ?
I already know of Greenmangaming, Gamefly and Getgames.

I had a issue with CJS a while ago, when I got 3 copies of Battlefield 3 from them for me, my dad and my brother in law and all 3 copies would not activate on Origin.

Spoke to EA on the phone and they said the keys were not legit keys, and asked where I got them from so I told them and EA said to contact CJS and see what they say about it.

I contacted CJS and they refused to do anything about it saying the keys were legit, after about 2 weeks of back and to with emails and call's to EA it was sorted out, and CJS replaced the keys.

I then tried them again last year and everything went fine, so I then got a few more games from them and have had no issues since.

I got in the end a 50% discount from CJS for my next 2 games that I bought from them, and EA gave me 4 50% discount codes because they couldn't help beyond telling me the keys, were not legit and couldn't replace them as I didn't buy them from EA which is understandable.

I now usually only buy from CJS because of the cheap prices but sometimes, they are pretty much the same price as Steam or Origin.

I would recommend anyone who wants to use them, just give them a try but be prepared to wait for the key because if they run out of keys before you order it can take, them up to a week sometimes to get some more.

Generally they're fine.

You'll only really run into problems on release dates where they have pre-orders to fulfill, along with people ordering them normally, then they run out of keys. They then usually take a fair amount of time to process things.

Anyway, I still use them for pretty much every game I buy as they're 50% of the price of others. Always check ebay too if you're buying keys though. You often get people selling their's that they got free from AMD, or bought then no longer wanted. For example, Bioshock was £20ish on CJS keys, whilst people on ebay were doing them for £12. Just have a look around. These days you can always find things cheaper.

Would you mind PMing me these 'other sites'? I need them :p

Only downside with CJS-CDkeys is that with older games, like Call of Duty 4/5 you get a regular keycode, not a Steam code which means that you have to pirate the game first and then use your legit code

Here are a few I use, some prices are higher than CJS but sometimes you find better deals on one site than you do on the other, so it's best to check them all before you buy. A few of them have sales on games and bundles every now and then as well, I got The Withcher 1 + 2 enhanced editions both for £4 on Gamefly the other week.

I have used other sites which I thought I had bookmarked but haven't, i'll try and find them again if I can.

I heard that companies like this basically bulk buy actual games from countries where they are piss cheap and then just sell the keys and throw the rest in the bin.

The reason they can be rejected is that sometimes Steam/Origin will run a location check and if you're in the UK they can be black listed.

Not true, you can activate a game on Origin or Steam from any country.
There are three different types of keys, one with all languages, ones that are US/EU only languages and one that are RU only.

The ones that are RU only require a VPN for activation and an additional download for the English language pack. Once you have activated the game via VPN and added the English language you can play it just like you would any other game.

There has been the odd occasion where RU games require a constant VPN connection to play them, Skyrim and Black Ops 2 for example.

CD key sites now wait till after the game is released and check that the games work without a constant VPN connection before selling RU only keys though.

Well I don't really bother any way. I like to buy physical copies for my collection :)

I do have a trick I use during the Steam sales though.. Usually games in the sale are the same in $ as they are in £ so I just PPG the cash to my friend in the USA and he buys the games and gifts them back to me

I sometimes wonder how long it will take Steam to work that out and stop international gifts.
