Cintiq

Hey there i was working on my cintiq then graphics card drivers crshed and recovered but only recovered for my dell monitor which was set as secondary now windows will only detect and send a signal to the cintiq up until start up at which point it comes up no signal any ideas? tried to reinstall drivers and it did nothing :/

spec rad 5850 using CCC 11.4

cintiq pro 616-7

windows 7

cpu:i7 920

mobo:asus sabertooth x58

psu:corsair hx750

Just a few things you could try:

1.Reseat graphics card

2.Reseat memory

3.Dissapate charge by turning psu off by switch then hitting pc power button(fans will spin if any charge in system).

4.Try booting with 1 stick of memory at a time.

5.Check all cables are inserted properly.

No signal to monitor can often suggest memory problems or static.

solution swap cintiq to hdmi port with adapter and reinstall drivers it's not even a duff port cause my dell is currently running off that dvi port so I have no idea sometimes computers just seem mystical....Actually sometimes I feel like my mine is toying with me and the fans seem to rev up and down like a gentle breathy laugh mocking me....ofcourse that could just be me being paranoid.
