Choosing a Network Driver

I have recently had trouble setting up a Hamachi VPN with some friends and I've pinpointed the problem to not having a local area connection, which appears in the device manager as an unknown device without a driver.

I want to get a driver for it therefore, but I am not sure where to find the right one... Could anybody help me find one? I am using the onboard gigabit lan system on THIS motherboard, and i need to set up my system to recognise it's own ethernet connection, as I am on wireless at the mo, so it doesn't reckon i have one. Also, help on how to install it'd be nice!

Thanks y'all!

P.S Nice to be back. :wavey:

Yes, it was off before, so I think now that i have it on i need to install drivers.

EDIT: Fixed it on my own... thanks... I think.

Just go on your motherboard website, go to downloads and your driver will be there.

btw did you have fun with the tin foil and latex gloves :p oj

Hurr hurr. Yup i did, (thanks for network help BTW) The foil surface was nice to work on and you couldn't lose bits in it as they stood out so much, and gloves worked perfectly for spreading the arctic freeze :D Though admittedly they didnt help anywhere else, to omany spiky bits of wire or solder to rip em...
