down on the south coast we have had around about 3-4", but when i was in iceland mid-end of last week it was between 6-12" in city center and then about up 18" when you left the city.

i know. I heard loads of people moaning that its a disgrace that this much snow has caused the uk to grind to a halt. We've not had this much for 18 years. Why spend so much money on improving things for something that could happen every 18 years. It's not like we're in canada.

Bah, we can't afford snow in Wales. We'll probably get some minor left-overs.

Our Canadian, US, Scandinavian, etc friends will ofc be laughing to themselves that the UK comes to an absolute stand-still after a matter of inches.

Its been snowing here all day, not really sticking much, there's a couple of inches on the ground. Fell off my (push) bike...hurt like...well sliding on my a**e for about 10 feet before hitting a curb
