Changing the Stock fan in a Synology DS215J

As the title says.

Is it worth while changing the stock fan with this NAS the stock fan is really noisy, i think the stock fan is like a 92mm so would i get any benefit bye changing it and putting a better after market fan in it, Wouldn't make a difference cause of the board that is in it.

I would rather have a bit more temp and silence then a noisy box, so yeah go for it, get a fan with good airflow and not to high rpm.

TBH the only 2 brands i would look at are Fractal Design or Noctua nothing else.

The noise comes and goes it's not there all the time.

I'd personally change it out for a Noctua NF-B9 Redux 92mm 1600RPM Quiet Edition, Either the standard 3 pin or the PWN version -

I think i may end up getting the Noctua one, even tho there is a price difference.
