changing fan on cooler gelid tranquillo

Hi i was thinking of changing my fan on my cooler gelid tranquillo having had it for quite awhile now but don't know what will be a good fan for it, any suggestions? or just get a noctua huge thingy?

Depends, the noctua will cool the CPU much more effectively, but will need low profile ram etc. and will cost £65ish.

In terms of decent fans, the Gelid fan is pretty quiet, so I'm guessing that you need better cooling. The Noctua fans are well respected, but a wierd colour scheme and quite low CFM. On the higher fan speed side, Gentle Typhoons (1450 or 1150rpm) have good static pressure and have very good CFM to noise ratios.
