Cases

I just wondered what people use to clean their cases with?

I was told that using a hoover can affect static and so can break components. I have to admit though I have used them in the past.

So what do you guys use? Compressor, brush, or something completely different?

Microfibre cloth and sometimes some methylated spirits for the case.

Internals just get a a good burst with a bit of compressed air to remove dust.

I use a lint-free micro fiber cloth for the outside and the bottom of the inside of the case. I have filters on my case, so a lot of the dust is gathered in those areas. I clean the filters every week because my room is extremely dusty and I crank the fans up when I'm gaming, which results in very dusty filters. I wash the filters thoroughly with cold/warm water. For the components/fans I use compressed air

. I also have my case on top of my desk rather than on the carpet to ensure I have my case as dust free as possible.

You can use those spray boxes with air, or you could use compressor. Just make sure that the compressor is oil free sprout of air

For chassis and fan surfaces just use some cloth.

I use those cans myself with compressed air. Planning to get one of those small compressor machines when i get my rads up and running.

Every 2-5 months i take all components apart.I use a fine paintbrush for components. For case,if its very dirty, the shower does the trick.(no fans installed)

Dust filters,i use water and cleaning detergent.Be sure water is 30c,if its to hot, filters may shrink or get out of shape.
