Carbon fiber vinyl wrap !

Hello all,

I'v recently noticed that there seems to be more and more builds being covered with carbon fiber vinyl wrap is it just me or does anyone else think it looks terrible?

I personally hate it in large quantities for example covering and entire case or covering mobo panels, however that said i don't mind it being used in very small amounts or as a small accent area as long as it is done neatly and to a moderately good standard.

Id like to know how some of you modders and fellow rig builders feel about the use of carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

It looks good if its done properly, when the lines dont match up it looks terrible. It doesnt look good if its black or white carbon fiber covering the outside. It should also only be 1 kind of carbon fiber per build. Such as no mixing of black and white etc.

I agree no doubt it looks okay if it is done well but i still feel that if you cover a full case it just looks silly to me, i think the only way i would like it is if it was on a case from the get go out of the factory then you know its going to be neat.
An example of where it has not been done quite well enough is the (800d case build log recon 50 cal) and i'm not saying this is the only one but this is the most recent build iv seen using carbon fiber vinyl.
If he had used the carbon fiber to accent parts of his build and spent extra time making it nice and neat i think it could look much nicer but each to their own i guess.

I'm glad someone agrees with me, thought it was only me who didn't like it.
