the number of squids on the road will drop fast. uk roads are not designed for that amount of power. as cool as it is a 600 near the same power as a 1000 is not a good thing. i mean rossi marquez lorenzo pedrosa sure. the top boys of the iom tt sure. but yer man at the other side of the road going through a midlife crisis will soon enter a no life crisis
Is that the compact ?
If it is, have a good look at the body as it's specific to the compact almost nothing off an e36 will fit, engine is ok as they will.
Rust around the rear arches is the main problem point, because bmw wont supply the inner arch, it can only be done once before a whole new panel is needed.
Engine just check its had regular oil changes.
Exhaust is specific and expensive.
Its why they are cheap, as they are expensive to maintain and keep in good order.

Superbikes have been making above 150bhp for the last 10 years.
Very true though, look at the amount sold with very few miles, because the owners are scared of them.
I saw an advert recently, Bmw s1000rr 200 miles in a year, open the tap s**t self put in garage now for sale.
It makes them cheaper for me to buy.

Bro, I'd love to! Issue is I have no way of getting it home and insurance will be a pain. I'll see if insurance is actually going to insure me if I get it then I'll legit think about bidding on it.

I'll see if I can get an insurance quote. Its really, really rare tbh as its a UK car (not import) and I don't think they were ever officially over here. I'll have to look into it more.
-edit- errr, insurance doesn't think that there is a auto one so it must be an import D:. Cheap, cheap insurance though. Oh wait nope, its just so rare they don't know what it is :l

Oh and make sure they get the right model, its pretty much guaranteed they think its the GLI. For the record these cars do have quite a lot of parts in japan and they can make serious grunt. Uprated turbos etc. You could get a manual gear box for it as well. Haha, don't let me stop you looking at it. I don't think I really have the space to store it/work on it D:.
-edit- do you have the reg Kambo? can't see it on the photos and I was gonna ring the company who've done my Corsa at lunch

No they'll insure you, i dont have a reg ill grab one of the way to work for you, i dont have the room for it, i got 2 more cars to buy ive only got room for 4 cars on my drive and there is already 3 on there without my two cars!

I live with my folks who have 2 cars, then my sister stays here during the week coz its easier for her to get to work rather than driving from London everyday! Makes car 3, then i have a daily car 4, then my toy is car 5, luckily my brother moved house last year otherwise it would have been 6 cars!
Ill make a video of what my street is like on a Saturday morning, one of my neighbouts will specially come out at 9am just to watch me move 40837 cars just to get mine of the drive :lol:

id have a pre-crossplane r1 in a heartbeat but i dont have the time to ride thats why im getting rid of my sv. that and it anoys the flip out of me. my uncle had a shiny new tuono until he put it through a hedge and down a ditch. and im pretty sure that is 170hp and hes not a crap rider in the lightest hes now got a multistrada as his wife said if he wanted to continue to ride it had to be something sensible. english roads might be better than n.irish road, yea i know we have the fastest road races in the world. but thpse area get more care than the rest of the country.

Ive toured up round Sligo, on an old vfr750 it was the soft suspension that made it work up there.
R1 would tie itself in knots on the same road.
My brother has an SV1000 thats an ideal mix of power and suspension for everyday use (its got an ohlins shock and resprung forks) powerwise its 115bhp.
He has used mine, but says its to focused for his commute.
Whats wrong with your sv ?
Its possible im coming over to Sligo later this year, if you need a hand with the Sv, then no problem.

Hell, it feels strange driving around without sporting a "Tax Disk".
BUT........what I don't like is the fact that the DVLA are saving millions doing things this way and my duty has still gone up by £5 to £265. :huh:
It actually feels very strange to me ha.
Just a heads up regarding tax as well guys.
Car tax is NO LONGER transferable when buying/selling a car.
