One of the diy angel eyes made by the previous owenr was half dead as can be seen the first picture, ocd didn't really let me live with it, so I got some white led rings to fit, the result is awesome imo :)

one half dead, one installed.

Haha it looks like they ripped off the Zentorno and the Jester from GTA V :D

I'm thinking it was probably the other way around and we've known about this concept for ages? Wasn't there a super bowl commercial where Jay Leno stole it or something?

Took me a total of 11 hours in the garage to get a single 10 guage cable from the engine bay to the boot, without a single bit of cable showing. 9 hours of which where spent figuring out how to pass from the firewall. Italians really don't make things easy :(

So after weeks of waiting some what patiently here is the end product of the respray for my car.

Would you think that the car is 21 years old :D:D

That's my car... lol
Never needed a car, if it's not walking distance I take the bus..

Not if your country has the worst public transport system ever, Malta became famous internationally for the massovveeeeee fuck up they did with the *new* public transport system. Lets say that getting to the capital city, by car takes 15-20mins, by bus, who knows, 45-60mins probably.

Our bus system is not bad, and the train is very useful and always on time, it's a normal train, not a bullet train But still..
I'm really happy I didn't have to buy a car, I'm a little short of cash (would rather get more computer parts) and I hate driving.

Thats one fine 21 year old ;)

Do you guys in the UK get crucified with tax/insurance if you're to drive a car like that?

I remember eying a 94/95 TVR Griffith with a 4.2l petrol engine here in Ireland for something like €7000 if I remember correctly. However the yearly VRT was like €2500. So much for that!

Having such a car would be pointless for me anyway, tax not withstanding, the running costs would be hideous. ^_^

Ireland isn't much better. Unless you're living in central Dublin/Cork here, you absolutely have to have a car.

It'd be nice to get away without one though. Between tax, insurance, maintenance (if it's relatively old) and running costs it can amount to quite a bit per year.

Sure do! Not so much as with certain model Subarus though. The insurers seem to think that if you own a skyline like that (high value etc) you'll treat it very well and take many precautions to keep it safe. Still costs stupid amounts though.

The insurance over here is dreadful. My crusty Corsa costs me ~£1000 a year to insure. Pretty poor considering its valued at £480 :D. For a laugh I once looked into how much it'd cost me to insure a £1k Merc E-class (circa 1999, AMG body kit.) that looked like this:

Car price? £1100. Insurance ~£12k.

Pubic transport in cambridge is crap. So is the traffic. Hence why everyone cycles everywhere.

12k?! lol What age are you?

If you're any way young at all you've to pay ridiculous costs in insurance in the year at least here in Ireland. It seems the assumption is that if you're a young male you're automatically a boy-racer. It's only now at nearly 27 that my insurance is starting to come down tbh. I got screwed in my Civic, but only since I upgraded from that that to a new Auris it's not so bad anymore.

What's the tax like out of interest for something like a Skyline in the UK?
