I went to look to a vw polo yesterday which was really really appealing, but the smallish engine (1.0 petrol) and No extras broke the deal for me. I will be looking some more for a 1.4 petrol and maybe with electric windows and ac.

Is there a formula of some kind that allows you to convert liters to petrol? I'm just curious because many V-8 trucks/muscle cars in the US are all well above the 5 liter mark and starting to become above the 6 liter mark as well(which is a huge freaken difference).

As far as I know (which is quite little) 1.4L = 14 Petrol = 1400CC. Not mathematically but in car language, so a 5 litre mark would be 5.0L = 50 (Diesel?) = 5000CC, I'd be happily corrected though :)

Both the cars I had have been a 1.4 (my old nasty MG) and a 1.1 (my current car, a corsa). go for extras over power at this point in time as you can't have both without a stupid insurance bill for some reason :l.

ok car nerds!!

i have a daily run about 2000 X plate Fiesta, and yesterday the heater, indicators and electric windows stopped working, fuses and relays are fine, what else can i look at before setting the stupid thing alite!

Its been raining alot recently right? I'm guessing water has damaged the wires themselves (as in the switches to turn them on/off). That or corrosion on the grounding.
-edit- I don't know much about electrics, the extent of my mechanical knowledge is using a landrover to put a door off :L.
