I regularly look at Mk2 XR2's - its difficult to find one that meets my standards!

Ive had £5k sat in a savings account for the right Fiesta for over 2 years, I really need to put some effort in lol

Theres nothing good on ebay ATM but you probably picked the worst and that price is silly. I wouldnt give them 1k for that

Oh don't get me wrong, I actually like the MK2 fiesta I just showed that one for the price. This one is a mark 1 but in my opinion I kinda like them more than the mark 2s. Its the same with mk1/mk2 golfs. The mark 2s still look nice but I quite like the slightly more restrained looks of the mark 1s.

Just go to lots of car shows you are bound to find one or at least somebody who can get you one, its a project car not a daily car.

Tom that jag is 30 mins from me, bonnet is off on the drivers side, doesn't line up.
The cat d bit would put most off a car like that, id want a list of what has been repaired, it could quickly turn into a money pit, further down the road.
Almost a case for looking at the business lease deals maybe. :huh:

Speaking of retro stuff ive always wanted a s1 escort turbo, the price of them has sky rocketed in recent years.

My dad used have a 105 with a 2.2 litre engine but sold it to somebody after a few months and they wrapped it round a tree which was very unfortunate.

Well a couple of weeks after having my head gasket fixed, engine management light comes on and the car starts juddering at low ish rpm's -.- had a google and it seems to be anything from coil packs, spark plug, oxygen sensors and camshaft sensor(?).

Bit miffed to say the least but every time i tap the grey ecu box in the engine bay it stops so me and my dad think that it's a loose wire :/

If its a french car then, id go coil pack.
Part is £30 ish to about £60 depends on what engine it has.
Looks for the part number on the old coil to see which one you need.
If you can build a pc changing it is not difficult.

It's a 1.4 tu3 engine from what I can tell. If it carries on playing up then i'll ask my dad to get a new one. Cars already cost me more than what I paid for it :L

I can only afford one atm, so I'm thinking "I didn't pass my test for the extra four seats, I only need one!" but that won't be the case if the love of my life comes along lol.

Fear not, i've done that many times over, i just stopped adding up what the cars\bikes cost me per year.

As an unemployed college student it's the most worrying thing going. Mum and dad are paying for insurance etc atm and I hate it. Every time I apply for a job they either don't et back to me about it, decline even an interview or the one time I got an interview I got declined as well. Luckily I work it off with jobs around the house and fixing computers at weekend etc but it still sucks :/
