Is there much difference between normal diesel and performance? I've been filling up with the performance recently, probably a little more expensive so loosing out on a bit of fuel but if it treats my baby well then.![]()
Don't really know about diesel but if it's like the petrol equivalent then it will make things worse not better. Higher RON fuel basically determines the anti-knock index. The higher the number the more energy it takes to explode - this helps to improve uniform exploding across all cylinders. However, not every car engine is designed with this in mind and so can reduce MPG. (at least this is my understanding - feel free to correct car peeps).
