Is there much difference between normal diesel and performance? I've been filling up with the performance recently, probably a little more expensive so loosing out on a bit of fuel but if it treats my baby well then.

Don't really know about diesel but if it's like the petrol equivalent then it will make things worse not better. Higher RON fuel basically determines the anti-knock index. The higher the number the more energy it takes to explode - this helps to improve uniform exploding across all cylinders. However, not every car engine is designed with this in mind and so can reduce MPG. (at least this is my understanding - feel free to correct car peeps).

Higher the RON less likely it is to detonate (explode on the compression stroke)

Also high RON is better overall for the engine, the timing isnt retarded to adapt for shit fuel and you end up having a smoother more efficient car.

Performance fuel is only worth using if you have a car that needs it, anything Jap import should be run on Vpower, if not then you dont deserve to own an import.

You know you need to do atleast 3 full tanks for the 'performance fuel' to come through properly

I'm not sure tbh, the car feels better lately but most of that will come through because I remembered about power steering liquid *checks it* empty! So although the steering felt fine, its so much easier, more responsive etc now.

Edit: Completely full? I only ever top up to 3/4 full.

Check what RON the manual suggest, using higher than what it was designed for is pointless.

Not really.. on the back they can't even the logo right.. it has an Acura logo on the rear.. that'll cause some confusion.

Also you said your favorite was the Ford Raptor.. that truck sucks lol

Didn't know that. Raptor to me is ugly and as an offroad truck it's good but not exciting or crazy, more like a racey offroad. You want a real badass truck that is pure fun? The Ram Runner is the best you can get. Which is the point of offroading to me. If i wanted to race i wouldn't get a raptor

I want a car which I can really use for something like moving logs etc. since I had to do that from time to time and have fun chasing around some corners in the woods.
But since I cant drive anymore I can scratch that anyways :lol:

So seeing as today was a nice sunny beautiful day, with gorgeous 3 degrees temperature, i thought i would do some work to the BMW.

It had this stupid squeaking coming of the offside rear wheel, so i investigated

Turns out i can lower the rear of the car another ~50mm which means im gonna do it

Looks normal right....so the caliper came off and the disc

Those of you who are handy with spanners with see the problem

Some stupid motherfucking asshole didnt change the handbrake shoes properly and they seized open causing the squeaking also wrecked the handbrake mechnisum, which means i now need to replace all the lines, i wish people who have no idea what they're doing just leave shit alone! Seriously LEAVE SHIT ALONE!
