Cant Update Java

ive been trying to update my Java, i believe i need 1.5.0, but when i go to update is, no matter what browser i use (Firefox, IE, Chrome) it just closes out my browser and thats that. i cant download the latest Java stuff.

why is this happening, how do i fix it?!?!

Go to control panel, uninstall the current Java you have, restart your pc and then re-download the latest Java from the website

yea i already did that, and solved my own problem. thanks
