cant post at stock timings

I have:

2x2gb mushkin radioactive 1600mghz 7-9-7-24 1.65v

asus p8p67 pro motherboard

intel i5 2500k

currently I'm running the RAM at auto speed and auto timings which are 1333 and 9-9-9-24 (It posts and windows is functioning)

When I tried setting the stock timings in bios It didn't post at all and when I set 7-9-7-24 and forgot to set the voltage it posted and booted to windows but I got BSOD every time after a few minute.

any Ideas of how I could get to the timings specified??

Actually I just tried agian with the right timings but now with bios clocking options at manual not auto seems to be working fine now.

What a newb i am
