Guys,
Pease see attached piccie of how I sealed my last DFI mother board.
You can see that I packed the sealer all around any exposed metal parts that would lie underneath the CPU KIT. This was do not offer some protection to those parts from condedsation.
Am I doing this right? Or should I just stay with using the strip on the edge of the CPU kit and leave all the other parts exposed?
What about the center of the CPIU socket, does anyone put any sealer in there?
Any other hints and tips regarding this would be appreciated.
I now have an ASUS P4C800-E (after 3 blow outs on the lanparty MOBO!!) - there are electronic components and solder joints inside the strip perimeter on this one too - I just want to make sure that my installation is as safe as it can be.
Cheers
