Can I Service or Refurb an old Pump?

Hi all,

I am going to be building a brand new system in about June when I have enough money and I was going to watercool it again like my current system. I have 2 Swiftech MCP655/Laing D5 pumps in it at the moment (yes overkill I know but, hey!), these have been running at about half speed for the best part of 2-3 years. Do you think it would be ok to just throw one of these in my new system (as I think one loop is probably enough). Or do you think they might be about to fail? or is there any way I can service them? or does anyone on the forums offer this service?

Just wanted some advice before I started speccing it up with w/c, as without cooling it is coming to the best part of £2k...

Pretty much a use till it stops kinda thing. Never seen any service kits so Id either sell yours as used and buy new or just fit and forget them dude.

That's fair enough (and a nice quick response!) Guess I will just use it as if I had just bought it, and then just be prepared to possibly buy a new one.

Well that takes a large chunk out of my shopping list, only need blocks then!

Thanks
