I'm running full load 24/7 (1 standard CPU client and a GPU V2 client for folding. )...so lower is better for me (running at ~40*C at about 22*C ambient, chipset is at 30*C and GPU at 51*C at close to its max OC). I don't think I'd last too long if I started running 70*C all day.

My board isn't really helping with my OC either. I think my max cpu freq is somewhere around 268MHz, that and my board didn't allow me to change the NB voltage (it does now that I flashed the a8n sli-premium bios onto my a8n sli-deluxe board )

and yeah 70c on my cpu, but that wasnt for long, and at about 1.65vcore. Gotta love it. worrying times though. ha ha ha

Overclocking is about how far your willing to push yourself, and what you are willing to blow up.

I think the best thing you can do matey is give us a list of your cpu mobo ram and cooling ect. And is the computer completely at stock?

Overclocking is not a 5minute process, its proberly best if you have a look at some guides online (uncle google can help there) then we should be able to help out.

Trouble with overclocking is volts increases, as volts = heat.

So you will need to be spending alot of time reading what everything means so you understand us AND spending some cash on good cooling.

Im sorry but there is no simple way to do it

Yea it is best to read up as much as possible and take very tiny baby steps are first when you are first overclocking,unless of course you have a lot of money and can just go buy something new if you burn it out
