I am looking into upgrading my CPU cooler, the one I currently have is an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2 and I am looking to upgrade to a Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced. However, I have a CoolerMaster Elite 430, which is a mid-tower case, and I am just wondering if anyone has any idea if it would fit

A rule of thumb is that if a case has a 120mm fan on the rear then normally a tower cooler with a 120mm fan on it will fit.

Thanks for the extremely quick reply, I think I'm gonna go for it, and hopefully it will fit, it not, then I'll keep it until I get my Corsair 600t

I had a quick look at the specs of the case and the cooler, here they are

Case (CoolerMaster Elite 430): - 190mm Width x 424mm Height x 490mm Depth

Cooler (Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced): - 95mm Width x 167mm Height x 122mm Depth

Just in case anyone wanted a second check

As an aside the mounts for the Dark Rock Pro & Advanced are very fiddly & quite frustrating. If you intend to swap it out quite often then I wouldn't recommend it. However the recent review says it is whisper quiet.

Is the AMD installation hard also? I'm guessing you have to install a different retention plate?
