I installed a 7950 a few days ago, and all seems good ( fingers crossed I don't like making comments like that, as not to tempt fate ) But yesterday, I paused a game, and when I returned my 2nd monitor was off. So I turned it back on and all was fine. But today, it happened again, but this time I was watching a movie, and it has now completely died.
I have my 32" led tv connected via hdmi, and my 23" Asus monitor connected via dvi. Is there nay chance of the graphics card being responsible ?
The card has got quite a load coil whine issue, and every now and then, it makes a noise, like a squeak, in steps of tone. It is hard to explain what it sounds like, the best way to describe it is, in movies when a computer is doing it's thing, it's the sound they lay on top. Like a generic computer computing. No idea if that makes sense, but it's all I've got. Cheers guys.
