Calling Phase Tech, Is It Borken

My boss was about to call a guy to come and have a look at a broken fridge, but I have offered to have a look at it before he spends hundreds having it fixed.

Sorry, I know it’s not cooling a pc but if I can fix this, I feel a little bonus coming my way, witch ill spend on an xpot

The problem happened when the fridge was moved 6 months ago for cleaning. Somehow the rad and fan got bent towards the condenser but about 25 degrees, and was turned off strait away as I have been told. I straitened it back, and have cheeked for bent or broken pipe, all seems fine.

The fridge as you can see in the pics is on but, no spinning fan and no sound from the condenser. my guess is when the fan got jammed it blow an internal fuse, but before I go taking the thing apart I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

This is just the ambient out side temp.

Am i right in saying the is were the fuse is.

Im not Fgas Tested so i wont be messing the phase unit at work.

That does look like the home of the fuse yes. Its also possible that the fan motor burned out. Both pretty easy to test though. Do you have a multimeter?

Yes i have a meter.

The fan spins free and feels tight.

right found my multi meter, Ill report back shortly.

Ok the box is the inverter for the light.

Just test fan and condenser with a multimeter and neither recieving any power.

Would there be and where, is the internal fuse.

Just had i running, after 2 mins of silence the condenser kicks in, for about 10 seconds then trips the fuse box.

Any advice would be great.

Hmm. So its drawing too much current then. What did you do to get it running briefly? If you can disconnect the fan the you can test the condenser on its own or vice cersa and see which is causing the problem, that mass of wirse looks like the place to start. If neither are working individually then the problem is earlier in the line and shouldnt be too hard to find. Cant say much else without more info.

Nope i give up, just lernt a leson in messing with things i no nothing about. Got a very nice electric shock, and it was not even pluged in. lmfao.
