Calibration

Do you do it?

My brother is looking to start editing photographs and is currently doing web design at uni so he needs colours on his monitor represented as acuurately as possible.

Whilst manual calibration can achieve outstanding colours and the right brightness levels etc, it's not easy to get it right unless you have a really good eye for it.

I have been looking at getting Datacolor Spyder2express to calibrate my screen and his screens along with those of my friends and family. Has anyone used this calibration tool or one similar and how happy have you been with the results?

I did it on my old comp. Can't be bothered on this one. Although I'm reformatting soon. might make a good job of it and do that too.

I find good calibration can really set a games mood as well. I almost always do the brightness and contrast settings when I install a new game.
