Build advice on AMD Vision Black Gaming PC

Hi, When was the computer built in the 2 videos that lollipop posted on 01 September 2011? The AMD Vision Black Gaming PC, is it still a good viable build now in Dec of 2011?

I have built one other pc in 2007 and replaced the MB a couple years after that. So I have a bit of experience putting a comp together. It's time for another and I really enjoyed the 2 very informative videos. Since I am newish at choosing what parts go together etc. I thought if I could build this one it would be perfect. I almost exclusively play mmorpeg games and surf the net. Thanks for any help.

What's your budget? What resolution and what MMORPGs? That's going to determine what you can build. Can you link the videos or post the specs of the parts from the videos? I'm not familiar with them.

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T

corsair H70 liquid cool

MB AUSUS Crosshair IV Formula

Memory 4 gigs corsair Dominator GT

Dual Radeon HD 6870 crossfire X

2 40gb Sandforce SSD

case Corseair 600T

PSU AX850

Someone advised me to do I5 2500k instead but then I am back to the problem of not knowing what MB and all the other hardware to buy.

My budget is around $1000 - $1500

The next mmorpeg I will play is SWTOR but I usually change games every fall because I play 24/7 and after a year I need a new one LOL

Personally I'd go with the following:

i5 2500k

Noctua NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow, or Corsair H100

Gigabyte Z68 UD5 Motherboard or Asus Z68 Sabertooth

4 to 8GB of Mushkin DDR3

nVidia GTX580 or 570

The largest single SSD you can afford

Corsair AX850 PSU

Corsair 600T is a good choice for a case.

I really like the i5 2500k build you suggested hmmblah......

I could not find the Asus Z68 Sabertooth motherboard anywhere. Is it not for sale anymore?

Is the Z68 the better choice than the P67 for gaming? I ask in the interest of learning.

I researched the hardware at NEWEGG where I usually order from and found the following items. Can you plz check and see if these are the correct items? I included the item #'s to make it easy. If they are not the correct item's can you please show me the correct # so I know what to order.

Also NEWEGG is out of stock on 2 items, i5 2500k and corsair H100. I tried researching the other 2 cooling items you mention but I must not be entering them correctly because I can't find them anywhere.

Are all parts created equally from newegg or walmart as long as it is the same item? Walmart does have the i5 2500k and the corsair H100

SHould I go with 32 bit or 64bit?

Can you think of anything else I need to order?

thanks for helping me!

Here's the noctua cooler:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018&Tpk=noctua nh-d14

2500k on newegg:

The noctua and the H100 perform very similar, but the noctua is air only. Up to you what you want to go with. Just be sure either will fit in your case, I don't know for sure. I have the noctua cooler on my 2600k machine and it's great, but massive.

I don't see a z68 sabertooth from ASUS, maybe they only have a P67? I usually buy only Gigabyte. My system has a UD4 in it.

SSD is a good choice, but a Crucial M4 has faster reads. You probably wouldn't notice the difference in real world though. I'd stick with Crucial or Intel for SSD, I've had good success with them.
