mmmm, sorry for the bad pic, camera is charging atm so pic was taken from my phone, in the worst light conditions :p

Saddest thing as far as the industry is concerned, the componets u have there are very good, with u needing a good reason to upgrade as they'll cope with anything out there very well.

My pov was looking at the date and thinking 2 years ago, minus the 5850 ofc, the thread would still be relevant.

Tech has indeed ground to almost a halt.

Imo, a P35(45)/Q6600/4g will give great performance even today. Add an overclock and ur laughing.

Yep, PC is perfect now, next upgrade will be a new PSU tho, as the 5850 is pushing it a bit :)

What speed's your 5850 running at? Added anymore MHz to the factory overclock? :) Rig's looking as good as ever, looking forward to some new higher res pics of the whole setup though...

Factory overclock is doing me fine :) And Zak, what you mean by power? My Corsair runs it fine :D

I'll try and get some high res pics soon :)

Aw awsum, I have a 5850 on the way, and then my project will be back on. Did I tell ye I blew the 4890? lol

Updated, bought a Sound Blast x-fi titanium (not the fatal1ty) was £66 oem special offer from overclockers.

As soon as I stuck some music on I could definitely tell the difference :)

Got a Roccat kone to replace my rather old OCZ Equalizer aswell. Lav it.

You couldn't tell the difference or you could? I'd say you could (I did) but in your post it says you couldn't?:p

Good job on making it tidy. I love it when people put in the time for nice cable management, means you get a better view of the gorgeous hardware
