Its strange how people assume that just because IDNet had a bad month or so with really poor pings, that they are still like that.

5-10ms ping most of the time in CSS with IDNet here. Not had ping problems in a LONG time.

I had these problems for months and I will admit when I didnt have the problems the speed and support was great I also left because of the pings and i needed a bigger limit.

Adam who owns idnetters was in my CISCO CCNA class and he told me that the ping problem still exists

IDNet customer support is 1st class tbh. I cant describe how much better it is than say AOL etc. The speed is quality too, I got up to 800k/sec on the last episode of Pure Pwnage! with an average of 560k/sec on a torrent!

INDET's service is top-notch tbh

I agree, when I was on idnet their customer service seemed quite good, altho saying that they were good at talking and not a lot else.

Loads of stuff they said which was wrong. Also they tried to pass the buck at every oppertunity :( (even tho it was their own system which was at fault).

On a speedtest I had 180k max, which always went down at peak times to 20k :( sync speeds were 2mb on adslmax, but on ukfsn adslmax I get 3.6mb to 4mb and the speedtest is 340k or over whatever time of the day.

Also the ping times are stable. On IDnet I had 300+ms every night to UK servers (for 3months). On the odd occaision in the daytime when the ping was ok, the ping to servers in NL were 300ms due to the routing.

This was when I decided enough was enough as I had some rubbish said to me on the phone (after the support bloke read my thread on the forum) which was totally wrong.
