British forum with no world cup thread?! You guys disappoint me. O_o

Not a massive fan of football....at all.

I did watch it last night though. Definitely shouldn't have been a penalty, and Croatia should have scored when that was disallowed for going out(?) or whatever it was.

They both would put England to shame though - they both looked like they actually wanted to be there whereas England just slowly walk around with the ball and never really do anything.
 
Boring as heck. Can't watch that stuff, i am okay with playing football, but watching it is just boring.
 
It was a good match, I thought Brazil were going to lose for a moment especially after that home goal :D
That Brazilian penalty wasn't deserved though, that Brazil player dropped on purpose to try and get the penalty, the Croatian guy barely even touched him.
Still, even without that penalty they still would of won, Brazil were the better team at the end of the day but Croatia did well.

Roll on the 15th for the first England match \o/

In germany football is a pretty big thing, at every world cup i hope that germany loses soon so i won't have to deal with the morons on the streets.
 
I don't usually like football either, I don't watch normal club football like Manunited vs Liverpool etc.
I do like watching the Euro and World Cup though, part of it is because of the patriot in me and wanting my country to win.
 
Football isn't my thing, I train a lot *bodybuilding* and train others for a living so watching 22 sweaty men kick a football around when I could be bettering my own body or other peoples has no appeal :p
 
Watched the game last night. Was just getting annoyed at Brazil, Croatia played well against a tough side, but some poor calls from the ref wound me up a bit.

can't wait for it all to get going. don't really have high hopes for England, but good to get football fix now the leagues all done.
 
Football is not a sport IMHO it's a monopoly. I'd rather crap in my hands and clap, than waste 90mins watching 22 over paid morons kicking a bag of wind around a field.

I am pretty sure watching you clap with shit filled hands would be far more interesting than any football game could ever be.
 
Seems nobody here is interested haha, I'm not either. Yeah they are overpaid too, and when you watch them trip up and cry and look like their dying...oh dear.
 
Yeah I'm not a football guy either.

IMO if i was to pay a footballer that much they'd have to be soo good the game is made pointless when they are played, a guy soo good at the game it is unfair lol.
