May try a Vista Ultimate key I've got. Well, one of the four.

They are valid for more than one machine though, aren't they?

activated vista 7 32 bit , windows server 2008 and office 2007 with no problems all working fine all downloading updates ..

No problems what so ever.

Just finished off a second install of 7 64 bit will tell you when ive finished.

But so far legit keys working as supposed to. :) happy times all around ...

And to add a annoyance to others my Sub is working fully with working keys and stuff all though im not going to hammer it else alarm bell will start.

I would recommend Technet to any of you guys who have been posted here, and have lost the subscription. I have saved myself a small fortune with the subscription, and considering it's price isn't far off the mark of Vista Ultimate retail, you would be getting a real bargain. The great thing is that even if you only do it for the first year, your keys that you got during that year are still available and can be used after the subscription has expired. So for a one off of £234, you can grab some serious software:)

Well I managed to get a load of keys for this. It also looks like they sorted out the subscription expiry dates.. They were 1900 or something yesterday but now mine says February 2010 which means I'll still have it for Windows 7 release :D

Just downloading all the files now I have my O2 broadband set up.

EDIT: Just installed Office 2007 Ultimate without any problems at all... Windows Update also picks up all relevant updates without a hitch!

Out of interest, are the download/keys available on a normal Technet subscription only valid for 1 PC, 1 Person...or..?

Just wondering if it would be a viable purchase for OC3D, so the review team don't have to pay for the latest OS individually.

I do not know about Technet, but MSDN accounts are "vaild" on more than one PC

and away way surely people have more then one PC when they are an IT professional

You can install on as many systems your organisations have, but the catch is that it's supposed to be for evaluation purposes only. In other words, I think MS would take exception to an organisation rolling out on many PC's without making any purchases. Not sure how they could police that but that's their stance on it Jim.
