Bodybuilding/Powerlifting

I've trained for 5 years now to get the Spartan Leonidas look and I'm keeping it, The freak of nature look doesn't appeal to me but each to their own :)

You look good mate, I saw your pic from 2009 to now, huge change and well done to you. I'd be proud of that. :)

God damn it you Yanks with your lbs instead of kilos. ;) Thats awesome though mate, do you still lift today?

I'll leave the kilo conversions to you:D. I still train but haven't competed in a couple of years. My weigh is down around 125kg(better) and I will keep it there. I entertain the notion of coming out of retirement to make a run at some masters world records. Or go back to competing in BJJ where i was 290lbs with abs showing. Not a big fat guy, lol.

Fuck, you must of looked like Brock Lesnar lol.

My girlfriend s daughter plays club soccer. They crushed the other team 9-2!

You mean football, Main word, FOOT ;)

What you americans call football the rest of the world calls rugby but the rest of the world doesn't wear armour because we aint pussys :p

The word "Soccer" actually originated in england in the 19th century and was originally a put down of the sport hence why people don't use that word to describe the sport.

It's like calling american rubgy or as the americans call it "Football", Rugby for cowards which would also be quite offensive.

Little history lesson for you ^_^

Hahaha, its easier kilos, the Yanks just like lbs because it sounds heavier. ;)

We have an American from Texas working in our lab, Great guy very friendly and we were having a mini deadlift competition just between us and I did 250KG and then he said "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO OH YEAH, I did 450, Beat that ! WOOOOOOOOOO".

I had to break it to him softly "Mate that's only 200kg, You used pounds I used KG, 2:1 ratio"

His face kind of sank, I bought him a beer and it's all good now though ^_^

Hahahaha, that made me laugh. :')

Got a date tonight, currently doing some high rep exercises to get all swole up :P

100 pushups
100 situps
5 sets of 21's (the barbell bicep thing)

100 pushups and situps may not seem a lot but I haven't done those in ages, I used to get over 200 pushups and 600 situps straight with proper conditioning.

Edit: In the end didn't feel really pumped, but with a properly fitted t-shirt I looked quite huge, traps were still really full from the day before so was looking really wide. Well I can say the date went good to say the least :)

Lol I don't agree with pumping up for a night out or a date, a guy used to come into the gym and he was in great shape, like a naturally genetically gifted arse because he tookroids, trained once a week (for 15mins to pump up on a Friday night) and ate pizza yet his delts were big his chest, his arms, a small waist with abs.

I think just go as you are, a bit of a pump won't make much difference and the date I take it has seen you before, not to mention most girls don't actually like muscles, strangely us men just like em lol.

Edit: Pulled a back muscle today, should of seen it coming. Just got out of bed and hadn't warmed up. Was just starting traps and felt the twang in my upper back. Hurts to lift arms over head and although its easing now, hurt to breath a it too.

To each his own I guess, I love my muscles <3 <3, and if the gal doesn't, its not gonna work out in the first place. How is she gonna put up with my clean diet and constantly at the gym for something she doesn't even like.
