Bodybuilding/Powerlifting

Think the one your thinking of is slightly different but this is what I mean. :)

I don't know how affective they are, for me now they're like huh whats this but that might be because I regularly train so its hard for me to say if someone else will find it hard.

If you could get some dumbells, to be honest mate, do you have something heavy that you can grip, is a milk carton heavy to you? Then for now at least perform hammer curls like this:

They are known for training both biceps and forearms, so training forearms will also give you a stronger grip.

Unfortunately I don't have anything around that could replace dumbbells, but its the time of year that people buy fitness equipment that will be on the internet ridiculously cheap in a month. But if I can get a couple of new ones for 2 tenners then that's an investment in willing to make.

Pushed myself a little today and got to 30 push ups, 50 crunches and squats :)
Gone Terry do a few more of each before bed.

I've got one of these things! You can add/remove rubber bands to make it lighter or heavier. Training my left hand as I'm typing this post on my phone :p

That will be a similiar mechanic so should do the same thing.

Anything will do as long as its heavy enough. :)

30 push-ups is good, I can do 30 very quick but around mid 20's it starts to burn so I get slowed down then until eventually "Ahhhh!" *face first, lying on the floor*. :D

Yeah I'm really liking it! I can notice with my left fingers getting stronger they also become better co-ordinated which helps with guitar playing :)

Oh lmao, my sister just bought two .5KG dumbbells for like €2.50 and apparently they also do sets of 2x 1KG. Seemed a bit light to me when I tried it. You recommend starting low (1KG) or just go to a shop, try some things and see what is more suited for me?

Yeah, I'm lucky I only weight 120 pounds so there's not that much to push up. On the 30th it's definitely the limit though, can barely get myself up from the ground again

You can make 1KG hard but it will take a lot of reps, everybody is different but 1KG for you wil still need time and effort put in. Something lik 5KG will be more noticeable to you, try doing press ups were you do:

In position, move right hand a foot to the right, then your right leg, then your left hand/foot and do a press up, much harder because you're balancing on one hand/foot at periods.

Also do uneven push ups, so one hand more your stomach area, the other in the normal position, alternate, they're good. :)

Yeah, thing is I get bored pretty quickly so I'm guessing I'll get something a little heavier.

Thanks for that tip! I'll remember them for the future, although I can't apply that now cause my balance is still a bit off with the whole spine thing. I do try to do push-ups like so now though:

MORE TRIANGLES!

I was thin like a twig when I was competing in BJJ (Less than 70kg) but after a car accident then I started going to the gym - never looked back since.

At this moment then I am bulking doing cycle of Test E + Deca + Anavar just finished the first week and all ready I am seeing some results (yes, yes I know that its some water retention.. but still!) The Anavar is to kick start the cycle for 4 weeks.

Any of you Gym Bros have any prior experience with cycles?

Well so far I've been working in the industry as a PT for roughly 4-5'ish years and the juice crowd and natural crowd never tend to mix, I have a few friends who take drugs but to be honest I keep them at arms length as their personality started to change and they take roughly what you're taking.

Please be careful bud, I've met so many people that afterwards say "I shouldn't of done it" and most of those drugs you mentioned are illegal outside of a doctors prescription from what I've been told, Again my knowledge on these things is limited as it doesn't interest me in the least.

Its not illegal to use them or have them, its illegal to SELL them though, here in Spain.

Here are some videos you might find helping,

I already know the pros and cons and there are more cons, As said I know people on the juice and to be honest most of the people yeah they look good but the natural people I know who put the work in look just as good and in my eyes just look more aesthetically pleasing, Yeah sure eventually a drug user will get bigger than the natural person but it just looks, Wrong.

By the way that channel you linked is mainly based around comedy, Not to be taken seriously at all.

And the substances you referred to are illegal here in the UK and seeing as this is a UK based site it would be wise to not mention them again.

Ofcourse I know the videos that I posted are not serious, as doing something like a cycle is very serous stuff. Needs a lot of planning.

The abs are coming back!

Also now my arms are finally getting some shape. Thanks for the tip on dips, Dice!
I now do:
- 20 regular push ups
- 30 crunches
- 10 push ups with my hand right next to each other (the triangle thing)
- 30 squats
- 10 dips
every day. It's not much but it's something. Time to slowly build up :)

What time do you guys suggest doing exercises? When I get up/ right before or after lunch/ before I go to bed? I do them before I go to bed right now so I get to tire myself out a little. I guess if I do them in the morning I'd not do too well in rehab (now that just makes me sound like a drug/alcohol addict) on the days that I have to go (only twice a week though) :p

Rehab? :O
The triangle thing is diamond push-up, you should also do some Hindu push-ups, and pyramid.
Also do more series instead of one, and workout in the morning if you can, thats basicly the best time, though i workout at 8-9pm

Medical rehabilitation mate :) I had surgery on my spine in November and lost a lot of strength (and also balance (and some feeling)).

I'll look those different types of push-ups up later tonight and give them a shot, thanks for that! Are you saying split the 30 I do now up in 3x10 (or even 3x15), or just do 30 and then another 30 later?

Yeah I've been thinking about the morning, but when I'm done recovering and go back to uni I really don't have the time for it in the morning. Also, I'm not motivated to do anything until I've had my coffee

Drink coffee and workout :)
So you are in rehab huh? Too bad that PC is just sitting at your home :D
i meant to write sets, do 30 push-ups, then 30sec-45sec rest, then repeat 3-5 times, or if you cant do that much, lower the ammount of repeats you do to like 10-20 and do more sets, same with crunches, also try doing plank , and later on planch , and do more types of ab excercises i mean you workout like my granma xD
