not really, id go with black block and black compression fittings, and what ever coolant colour but gold red and black not really, the only colours red and black go with are white, grey and black
i just wonted o get some opinions from other people because this is my first build so it will be easier for them to imagine all the colors going together then me - but i understand what you mean
I read forums every day (part of what i need to do). Some of the advise i see is either realy bad or Oky. The best advise is all ways to try it and see. What i may suggest is if you have an idea work on that idea alone to start with till you have some thing tangible then do some test with said idea. E.g your Gold and black and red is actually a realy good colour scheme yet the first advice you see is some one who cannot see this and offer up advise which tbh doesn't help at all.
The foundation idea seems a viable one and what you need to do is match up your colours to what your concept is how ever you realy haven't gone into much detail about it. E.g are you basing your colours scheme on a Samrui scheme or maybe a much brighter scheme Such as a crimson red, deep black and bright gold. Or are you after a much more subtle look such as a lush red, matt black and subtle gold.
or are you planning on doing a power ranger theme
But say we go for a pirate type effect red, black , gold you can all so throw in white.
And as said Samurai is duller is some seance but looks good.
I personally like the red and gold colour scheme, but as metioned above it is really just what you think looks good that matters, everyone has there own tastes, if you think red black and gold would look nice go for it. If in a year you decide you dont like the colour scheme you can always change the colour of the coolant and fittings if you want.
