[BL] Aria Guitar

Little circle things full of hooks to clamp into the wood, no idea what they're called

Think you will find they are "Tooth lock washers" lol

:-o she's beautiful, that bridge down the neck shot is gonna be my new wallpaper.

Yeah she's a looker isn't she! Also plays really nice, the Floyd Rose is a b**** to get into tune, but once you got it, she stays in tune nicely even with new strings on it.

Also I was hyped to have a guitar with a humbucker for metal now, but I didn't expect to be THIS content with the middle pickup as well. It sounds so aggressive with the gain set to full, it's very satisfying for lead guitar riffs.

PS: What photo is it exactly? I'll send you an original resolution photo! :)

Thanks! :D

I'll get online later on my phone so cant tag, Floyd roses are immense at holding tune, but yeah they are quite tricky to get them there, if you go too far you run the risk of over stretching the strings, but they give a nicer tone and crisp feedback. Enjoy and rock on dude.

Pure dedication. I love seeing people take things they love and then lovingly restore them. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)

No pick guard awesome! Less work for me :p I didn't have to do this one right?

I wish I could play guitar so I could spend too much money on a guitar :(

Yeah did take me a while, I'll change the springs out at some point but even when the bridge doesn't sit flush it's well intonated and the action is perfect anyway so I'm not that bothered really.

Also, here's your full res image :D

Thanks mate! I recently learned that she's 16 years old now, but she looks and feel like (almost) new now and I'm absolutely in love with it :)

Nahhh mate, that was Happy's Scarlett guitar ;) That still needs a pickguard!
Learn to play man, it's awesome! Good guitars don't necessarily have to be that expensive, just buy a decent one and have it professionally set up and as you get better swap out the electronics.

still can't believe that that's pictures taken from with your lumia phone camera

Lumias take awesome pictures, carl zeiss lenses ;)

Aye, the camera on it is decent considering the entire phone isn't even €100. If you zoom in you can see that there's quite a bit of noise in the dark areas that aren't in focus (so mainly backgrounds).

I have a white window screen in front of my bedroom window (hayfever yaaay) that helps a lot with photos as it diffuses the sunlight coming in, thus making it work like a giant soft lightbox. I also taped some white paper on two white LED spots in my ceiling light and aimed them and the photography stand.

Then set the white balance to 'cloudy', ISO to 100 and shutter speed to a full second and used several items I could find across the room as a tripod. Oh, and manual focus. I'm pretty content with how the pictures came out to say this was my first attempt at proper product photography. :)
