I was debating whether to hold off posting this build until I got a video card, but I decided against it. The integrated graphics runs Hearthstone exceptionally well and I've decided to wait until Maxwell (790 or 880). I currently have a pair of 5970's that I hope I can sell for a good price. Rumour has it that they are ideal cards for Bitcoin mining. But whether they sell or not, it will not deter me from buying one of these cards.
My last rig (X58) is 4 years old and is starting to show signs of slowing down, so I figured why not now?. After watching Tom's review of the H440 I instantly fell in love with the case. I also began dreaming up my next build and started putting it together in my imagination. I've always been nervous setting up a custom liquid cooling loop; however, the fear of damaging anything is what prevents me from even attempting it. My next build will be different as it seems I've finally overcome this fear. I've discovered that if you are not in a rush and take your time, any build can come out damn near perfect.
The only thing I thought was worth mentioning is that a 760AX will fit into the prodigy. But it's extremely tight fit and you will have to force it in there. All 4 of my SP120 QE's had noticeable clicking sounds, so I had to RMA2 to Corsair and return 2 to a local store. I don't know if I'm going insane but all SP120 QE's seem to have an extremely faint click/hum.
All things aside I really enjoyed putting this together, and i'm looking forward to the next one.
Cheers!
