Most OEM retailers in Greece use Biostar boards for their builds, it brings the costs down for them and (I hope) for the buyer too.
Never heard of them having issues as far as you don't do serious overclocking on them

I agree, they may have been unknown to some countries but here in PH they dominate sales from their low tier motherboards. H61, H81, FM2, I myself had a Biostar AM2+, never had any problem since I bought it 5 years ago.

I've never even heard of this brand.

Really!!! lol
Biostar have been around since 1986.
I had one with a CYRIX M II-333GP, I think it was the 66 or 75MHz fsb version.
