Bios Backup

Hey guys,

Does anybody know what tools can back up a UEFI bios ?

In the past with legacy bios I would boot from a bootable usb key and use afudos or similar but unfortunately these tools don't work under UEFI !!

I am hoping to unlock a few features in my UEFI bios that have been locked down by the manufacturer...

Same motherboard as the gt60 from msi just a different bios...

I'm assuming he wants to try and unlock some of the overclocking settings (maybe just to undervolt?) on the laptop.

Most laptops have any voltage control disabled in the BIOS.

Yep, im just looking for a tool that is capable of booting "uefi" and can save my bios to usb... Legacy bios tools dont seem to be working for me...

I need to unlock the bios to accept any wifi card, and also I may have the possibility to upgrade to a gtx 680m from the gtx 670mx.. This also requires a unlock in the bios...

I don't have any experience with MSI BIOS, but it looks simple enough

They have a guide for both saving and installing the BIOS, that you can follow..
