BF3 Stutter

always make sure ram timings are manually set first too.

My specs:
AMD phenom x 4 955 at stock
Gtx 670
M4A88DTV-v evo usb 3
Corsair HX 750
Corsair Force 3 120Gb

My problem is that on both MP and SP i have an incredibly laggy experience even though my framerate is high.

Any help appreciated.

not as badly. I even re installed Windows 7 and then re installed BF3 but still the same problem. I'm thinking that i'm just going to upgrade to ivy. Is that advisable?

I don't know if an upgrade will solve the issue. Have you tried older Nvidia drivers?

Have you updated the drivers for your 670? there was a bug with the original ones that caused stuttering.

yes i have updated all drivers.

It may be worth mentioning aswell that sometimes during movies it also stutters and makes a buzzing sound comes frim the speakers. I don't think that its the GPU as this stuttering happened with my old hd 6770.

reset your bios to the default and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't check your power settings in the windows control panel make sure the CPU isn't throttling down to a low power state while the game is active.

Report back after doing this.
