BF3 Beta Opinions

So everyone the Beta is now live what are peoples opinion of the game so far?

I have to say it is visually spectacular but getting used to Origin is gonna take some time.

So lets hear it good or bad what do you think!

To be honest, I have not been able to play yet today, Keep getting an error. I believe the Servers (At least on the US side) or plum full since the beta went global.

nice gfx on the PS3, but it soon sounded like a wind turbine

still buggy - i fell thru the floor many times

gfx must be better on the PC (but only on hi-spec rigs)

The real consolation is that it's just a Beta and that Dice are already going to patch the game on release day, I'm trying hard not to be too critical with it. I do like how people can blind you with their torches in the tunnels though that's pretty wicked it adds a whole new element to the game.

It's awesome. I got outsmarted by the torch. I couldn't turn it on. I freaking love the Support class. LMG + Ammo box = win. I fell through the floors a few times, and had some other issues (mainly PS3 players who suck)

This is game is awesome

I enjoy it very much, and i play as a Reckon with the pp2200

Everyone bitching about this not being a true BF2 sequel are just trolls or fanboys

I've only played a few times, but it is a fun game. Kinda frustrating when your new to FPS multiplayers, but with practice I can only improve

. There are a few funny glitches, but nothing that really spoils the fun (imo).

I'm loving it

I had only played MoH 2010 online before and compared to BF3 it's on a whole over level and thats saying something seen as it's still only a Beta.

BF3 is awesome, at first I was getting pwned left right and center but now I know the map and have unlocked a few weapons and things i'm enjoying it. Caspian Border is absolutely massive and flying round in the jets is awesome too. I like the Metro map as well except for the part on the other side of the subway but thats probably because I haven't learned that part of the map as well as the others yet.

I was in two minds whether to buy the game or not but now I know I definietly will be.

its brilliant been playing it for a good few hours and its just too awesome, works great on my 5870 phew, no need for a new gpu can use that money on a new build next year

I think it's pretty good.

It actually runs ok on my system, I put on FRAPS last night and was getting 50FPS on high settings 1080p

(without AntiAliasing)

Still undecided on whether I will buy the game or not atm as I still like CS:S for competitive play. I think it will be ok for public mess about but I get bored of having vehicles in FPS games.

So many people I know have pre-ordered it and asking me to join their clans etc so I might end up buying it anyway.

Depends on what game modes they have when it comes out.

Something like sector control from MoH (without vehicles) would be a laugh.

playin as the assault class

the ps3 beta has some issues with u get stuck inbetween walls after knife killin someone or getting glitched underneath the floors other than that a brilliant game looking forward to its release in October

very good. I couldn't get all the key config I want, the editor didn't let it change and that should get fixed or I'll be on the phone to EA and trolling their Youtube pages

In a big way it's crap! i've played Metro level only, there's no destruction, the objects don't move like cans and bins, it's a fail like in Crysis 2, and because it's a BETA I don't grumble. I've got BC2 running atm and the graphics, overall are cleaner. BC2 was updated in the last 2 weeks and it's much better. So work in progress!

Last night around midnight (don't ask, I went to school the next day), the servers shut down. I think they were doing some tweaks. I freakin hope so...I got stuck in the ground (under the level) and was killed by my own grenade b/c it was stuck under the level too.
