BF2 wont open!!

i was just playing it a couple of weeks ago and now when i double click on it, it flashes like it is opening it then it goes back to my desktop.. i uninstalled and reinstalled and is still doing the same thing.... i even patched it and it is still doing the same thing.. what do i do? I even reinstalled windows and it doesn't work!!!

Do you have a Gamepad ot joystick or anywthing in the USB?

I found if I took out anything in the USB it would open!

If not try uninstalling the graphic drivers.. And then fresh install them!

i have tried the vid drivers... and still a no go and i only have a usb mouse and a ps/2 keyboard..

Can you remember changing anything in between BF2 working then not working? I had a game that suddenly stopped working due to installing the latest graphics drivers. When I rolled back to a previous version of the drivers the game started working again.
