Better motherboard for overclocking

Hi everyone this is my first ever post on this site so bare with me lol.

I currently have a Rampage III Extreme motherboard in my gaming rig but i'm just about to start a second project which i want to overclock all my componants very high. Do i use my current rig with the rampage for the overclocking or is the Gigabyte G1 Assasin better for that as that motherboard interests me the most.

If anybody in the know could answer that question it would be much appreciated.

Since you already own the rampage 3 I wouldn't bother also I believe if your only water cooling or air cooling you won't see much difference between them, personly I wouldn't even consider it since in a few months 2 new intel sockets should be comming out save your penny's for that.

Thanks Tom I haven't had the computer building bug long but i'm really enjoying the learning process and i took your advice from your vid on youtube to get the noctua nh-d14. great cooler. currently learning to watercool so trying to check out as many resources as i can and when i become more confident with doing it i will give it a go lol.
