better gpu?

hey guys iam gonna buy a new graphics card a and I'll run it on 700w psu 80+ bronze so i heard that gigabyte r9 290x is perfect and the same thing for the gigabyte gt 970 g1 gaming so i want to know which one will perform better and stay longer in future games in full HD resolution?

What PSU exactly do you have?

Cause if you get a GTX970 now, 700 Watts will be enough to add another later down the line if your motherboard supports it. You can't do that with the 290x.

Also, the 970 will run a lot cooler and quieter due to using so little power, whereas the 290x is known for its high TDP and temperatures.

and i want asingle card only i won't buy another one in the future so which is better in the performance?
