anyone got any suggestions? more than one would be nice as i don't have any computer cleaning equipment yet

thanks!!!:worship:

to get the dust out from inside use a can of compressed air, you'd be suprised how much difference it can make to your temps!

Theres a thread about this somewhere that says its better to splash out and get a little compressor, due to compressed air in a can being a total ripoff...

straw + lungs + goggles is cheaper again

You should video that next time you're cleaning your pc and post it up!

I generally use compressed air and a vacuum cleaner.

vacuums and puters dont mix :nono:

You hold the vacuum away from the comp catching the dust. And a vacuum is also the recommended way to clean an arctic silencer (I have one on my vid card).

lol I use a blower! I blow away all the dust once every 2-3 months works best for me :D

Washing-up liquid, a brillo-pad and a scrubbing brush.

But if u`r not u`r mom, blowing can be good (watch the spittle), and a soft brush (very very carefully) - very much depending on u`r version of a dirty pc. U can get some soft usb houver/brush thingies that are good for the general user.

Am air compressor is outstanding tbh.

U guyz don`t know dirty pcs, I challenge u to post the dirtiest u`ve worked in :p

Yep been there done that, except I use a soft to medium toothbrush. Simply throw mobo into the sink and scrub away...just make sure it's bone dry before connecting again :D

It's not recommended due to the amount of static created. As someone earlier pointed out it's best to use the vacuum more away from the components just to suck up the flying dust from blowing it off with a compressed air can or something. Computer and vacuums aren't good combos really.

my vote = straw and blow ur own air, after that 90% or higher rubbing alocohol with some q-tips or cotten balls and dabbing all the small places.
