Best modern combat flight sim out now?

I'm longing for a good one to play with - havent played one for a good 5 years now last one I played was on my sempy afaik

Ideas? Preferably running better than flight sim x :nono:

There really aren't that many new ones... I remember the good old days of Jane's sims, Descent 3, etc.

This seems to be a decent list to start with, though not all of these games are recent:

There are also non-pure flight sims (other kinds of games of which flying is only a part), such as the Battlefield series.

I would say that the IL-2 Sturmovik series is the best flight sim available, but has a steep learning curve. A decent HOTAS joystick helps too, like a Saitek X52 Pro.

ACE COMBAT 4 PS3 MAN or Get Flight Sim (new one) get the traffic add on and combat then you can fly to aircraft and bomb them all

i think your pc should handle it

For Jets: in order of learning curve/difficulty (hardest>easiest)

Falcon 4 AF, LOMAC, Third Wire series (SF P1, WoV, WoE)

For WWII IL2 1946

for WWI probably Third Wire's First Eagles & it's new expansion.
