best lga775 air cooled setup

ya well im not buying stuff for 2 weeks so i got some time to look. Hope to get a 400-600mhz overclock on the dual core. Sunbeam / Tuniq T-120 was my first choice but after looking all over i found no site has it and couple emails to people said it would be sep befor they got any.

ya i thk so to but sucks in reviews it beats every other air cooled heatsink. I just looked at teh syth it weights 820grams thats alot. The zalman 9500 only weights 500 grams or so i might be goin to lan partys alot so what differnce in temps they would be.

I've got the BT, never had any problems with it due to weight (considerable 813g, probably more like 850 or so since I switched the fan to a Panaflo). And I've moved my comp around several times, drove it over to a friends house several times, etc etc. Very solid heatsink. What case do you have? Case configuration and size can be a deciding factor. You could take a look at my review as I tested a few different situations (case-wise anyways).

BT is personally not as good as an Aerocool Dominator. Much quieter and great performnace with a low idle-load delta.

its just a normal case had a name but i cant remmber it now retails for 100 when i got it. Bt and zalman CNPS9500 are my top choices right now i did a measure from my current board to psu and found i got 20mm or so. So i can use the zalman. The airflow is good in this after i moded it to support 2 80mm fans in front a side 80mm and a 120mm in rear. The polo keeps this pressy oc low to med 50s.

Go for the ninja. I have the BT and ive never seen my temps go below 32 C on a naked core, below stock volts; no matter how many times i remount it.

Which of the Scythe coolers is supposed to be the best? The Mine, Ninja or Infinity?

The mind is more compact than the other two. Not sure about the Ninja, but afaik the Scythe Infinity is their top cooler atm :)
