Best GPU for around $300

Hey guys, I'm building a new PC very soon and I'm still stuck on what GPU I should get for performance, price, and upgradability.

I'm looking at atm:

MSI Twin FrozR III R6950

EVGA 570

Any other alternatives either reference or nonreference that would outperform for a better or the same price?

Please comment. Thanks.

Even though I have an 6970, I'll give this a +1, Buy the 570 Lots less noise and heat for the same performance. (If your leaving it stock that is). Also be mindful those coolers on those 2 cards will be putting all the heat in your case. So make sure you have good air flow.

Well Chuck, you should look at Tom's Hardware site. Its best for price/power comparison.

It won't tell you the make but will give you an idea which chipset is best. Hope it helps

I would go with the gigabyte cause of their way of cooling the chip and board...

They keep the card cooler than many of the other coolers, well from what i have seen.
