Best fan for radiator

sp 120 PE and quiet don't really go hand in hand.
if you want quiet, good performing fans and you don't want to pay a fortune you get sp 120 QE fans, if you wan't the real deal, quiet and very good performing then you get noctua nf-p12s. but they are expensive and the color isn't optimal.

I've heard NoiseBlocker eLoops are supposed to extremely good on rads. Quite expensive though, you get one for every 2 sp120s you could get.

Is there any reason why you ignore the Enermax Magma? The SP120 PE outperforms the Magma by only 1,5 degree yet the Magma is considerably quieter .

Gentle typhoon's would be my choice. I'm using the AP-15 1850rpm version and they are quieter than any other fan i've used for the same rpm. (at 1850 they aren't silent by any means, but they become inaudible below 1200rpm) If you intend to run them at a constant speed without a controller, it makes sense to stick with the AP-13 or 14 (1150/1450rpm) models as they are supposed to be quieter again.

I hated using Magma for my RAD. They are not really that quiet, the SP120 quiet is significantly quieter than the Magma.

Don't pay attention to any spec on any fan

They're all utter B.S

The best way to pick fans is to see what the community is having success with

I got a pair Noctua NF-F12 PWM on my H100i can't even hear them and i'm overclocked to 5ghz i7 2600k max temp 73°....

So you OC'ed it to 5ghz and you do not know the volts? :bs:

not bs, only have it on just for fun, i'm still new to overclocking, and this about rad fans not overclocking.

i got the cinebench 11.5 score to prove it but i'm still new to overclocking, i think it was around 1.42?

Ya that does not show 5ghz anywhere...

This is about fans yes, what fans you useed to get that OC on a H100 and stable. It sort of shows what the OP could expect with this setup.

How about the Gentle Typhoon AP15 fans? Are they any good for radiators? I heard they are a bit noisy though ..

To repeat what I posted back on page 1. My AP-15's are so close to silent at 1100rpm all I can hear is the bequiet and enermax 140mm fans. No whine or other noises to report whilst using my fan controller either. They are the best at what they do, just don't look fancy and don't have any posh branding. I've got five already and I'm thinking of getting another 2 to replace all the fans I can.
