Hi All,

Noob to high end Video cards, ive always purchased the bare minimum to run some not so intensive online games, however will be getting a 3 mon setup soon for BF3 and wanted some help. I have a pair of MSI GTX 580 lightning Extreme edition 3gb and i would like to bench them. What do you guys use to bench your cards ? Also i never really understood the benchmark scores all i see is a randomly high number (i know higher is obviously better)that i cant really understand how good the score is... if it was a score out of a finite number i guess it would make more sense to me..can anyone help me make sense of the scores and tell me what i should be aiming for getting under which benchmark tool ?

Crysis2, games are the best thing to benchmark really.

3Dmark11 is good, look at what TTL gets for scores and look online, you can see what you're aiming at. At the end of the day,

But you can't always duplicate the exact same situation, that's why benchmarks are more reliable

A lot of the benchmarks are macro based, so you follow the same path the entire time, the variation shouldn't be significant, but it can vary that's true.

just to further this question. im overclocking my MSI 570 Twin Frozr III, Im running the Heaven 2.5 (among others) what settings shall i have with regards to tesselation AA/AF etc?

Running tesselation on extreme AF and AA at x4 I get a few artifact "flickers" @880Mhz with the voltage at +31Mv, but with just dropping the Tesselation down to normal it walks its, so im not sure what "proper limit" is.

Cheerz in advance

Heaven will still run on unstable clocks, I wouldn't use it for stability testing and benching at the same time, if you are
