In your opinion what would be the best 480 radiator at 600-750 rpm? noctua NF-F12 PWN fans would be used.

Info about the Monsta radiators:
The Monsta radiators, with a thickness of 80mm, are the first of their size on the market. Hence we were just as keen on finding out how they perform as the independent reviewers!
The tests show that it has significantly increased flow rates than thinner radiators. The cooling performance increased greatly with increased fan speed. Sounds normal, but this radiator shows a different performance profile than standard radiators: At 500rpm the Monsta is slightly better than its 60mm brother, but with increasing fan speed the difference increases: At 800rpm the Monsta already performs much better, and at 1200rpm a Monsta radiator is performing almost as well as a 60mm thick radiator with one fan more, at the same fan speed!
Thicker rads need more cfm to push the air thru even if low fpi but it does appear to be a decent rad for the $$$ but he stated at low speed for the fans .

Anything below 1200rpm is quiet, this is where fans with high static pressure come in, the static pressure even with the fans turned down low at a lower RPM they will still push air through the rad.
So with something Like the Noctuas or Scythe Gental Typhoons even at 500rpm would get you decent temps and as said above even at 800rpm the rad is better than the 60mm one. And at 800rpm it's much better and at 1200 it's better than a rad with one extra fan.
So what that means is that the thicker rad gets better temps at lower speeds than the 60mm rad does.
It's FPI, fans per inch that count when it comes to needing your fans faster. The more fins per inch the more resistance and the higher you need your fans. The lower the FPI you can have your fans turned down more.
60mm rads like the XSPC RX360 are designed for use with fans at 800-1200rpm, the monsta rads are designed for fans at 500-1200rpm.
Check out this review of the 360 monsta and look at the scaling from 500rpm to 1200rpm, this was done with Phobya nano g fans as well that have no where near the static pressure of Noctua or Scythe GT fans.

seems like according to the review you linked, at 500rpm is actually does worse then a bit of 60mm thick rads.Its not until 800rpm does it take the crown. Interesting find i guess ill have to look more into this. The idea was i wanted to have enough rad headroom, that i could have the fans low enough to make it very close to unnoticeably quiet

also thinking two of these since they doont make a quad air box prolly have to get some gasket seal at a local hardware store.. that stick on stuff. do thesr airboxes effect air pressure at all?
Im also thinking of adding a 60mm thick 240 rad in the roof to have that much more head room to have the fans spin that much slower. maybe run the entire system at 600 rpm

80mm rad + 25mm fan + say 40mm rad box = 125mm being in a 5.25 bays there actually iirc over 7 inchs (178mm ish) . ok well i guess im set and time to get to work.
I have been reading reviews and comparisons on various 360 rads. The black Ice seems to lag behind on all settings except for max fan speeds, 2000 RPM+. I decided against using it because I don't want such noise.

on the reviews you were looking at were you looking at the GTX or the SR1 because the gtx is made for high speed fans

oh see the gtx has 20 FPI while the SR1 has only 9 meaning, gtx needs high air flow but in the end will cool alot more, but sr1 line needs lower airflow to reach its peak efficentcy. id rather shove 2 big rads in here and have it silent then have 1 smaller one and have leaf blowers attacted to it.
incase anyone else is wondering what im trying to cool, two 7970s and a 3930k
ive thought about dual loops 480 for video cards and a 240 for the cpu but that seems like an awful lot of mess to save maybe 3*C?
Ya, I misread. I am getting the XSPC RX360. Was wondering if the SR1 would be better but couldn't find a Canadian retailer that sold one, so my choice was made for me.
